Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information AlphaOmega APPSC Current Affairs collects, why, and how it is protected. We collect only what we need to run your account, verify payments and protect our study material.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and mobile number.
- Password: stored only in a securely hashed form. Nobody, including our staff, can read it.
- Payment records: order ID, payment ID, amount, medium and status. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay and are never seen or stored by us.
- Security and usage records: IP address, browser and device type for logins and signed-in devices, and a log of which documents you open and when.
- Practice results: your MCQ answers and scores.
- Messages you send us through the contact form.
How we use it
- To create your account, send verification codes, password reset links and payment confirmations.
- To verify payments and give you access to the medium you bought.
- To protect the study material: each document you open is watermarked with your name and account ID, and login and device records help us detect shared accounts, which our Terms do not allow.
- To show your practice scores and to answer your questions.
We do not sell your information, show advertisements or use third-party tracking or analytics tools.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers needed to run the service: Razorpay (payments), our email/SMS provider (to deliver codes and messages) and our hosting and storage providers. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. It contains a random token, not your personal details. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Security and retention
The site runs over HTTPS, passwords are hashed and study material is stored privately. We keep your information while your account is active, and payment records for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct your details or to delete your account and personal information (payment records that we must keep by law are retained). You can reset your password at any time from the Forgot password page.
